Match Review || CSK Vs RCB
On a super-sunday, it's a double header & the first clash is a "Southern Derby". The two heavy weights of the league are locking horns with each other. This was a high-octane clash of titans, where "Chennai Super Kings" were locking horns with "Royal Challengers Bangalore" - the only unbeatable team of IPL2021. Yellow army was all set to break the winning streak of red army & they did it. Super Kings conquered Wankhede & registered a comprehensive win over red army by 69 runs.
CHENNAI SUPER KINGS - INNINGS
Yellow army brought vetron - Imran Tahir for this match & to everyone's surprise - M.S.Dhoni won the toss & elected to bat first at Wankhede. A venue, where it's like a protocol to win the toss & field first but "Dhoni is Dhoni" & his vision beats everything. CSK had a good start to the innings, openers gave a 74 run stand & they were scoring at a real good pace. Faf Du Plessis(50) once again was in great touch & eyeing for a big one. But,after his half century he perished & Super Kings derailed from there,in a manner. It looked like Super Kings will be limited to 160 runs. But, the storm was coming & nobody had any clue about it.
It was the last over of the innings & a storm named - "Sir Ravindra Jadeja" hits down at Wankhede & it proved to be a nightmare for RCB & their ace bowler, purple cap holder - "Harshal Patel". Before this over, Harshal Patel has figures of 3/14 in three overs & by the end of this over it was - 3/51. The man behind such massive destruction was "Sir Jadeja", who scored 37 runs in the last over, that includes 05 humongous sixes & a boundary. Jadeja went bezerk & Harshal Patel just went out of thoughts, ideas & crumbled under pressure. The super-striking of Jadeja(62*), helped CSK to post a huge score of 191 runs on board.Thunder-strikes from Rockstar Jadeja - Superb !!
ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE - INNINGS
RCB must have backed themselves, to chase this score on a flat deck at Wankhede. RCB openers, specifically last match centurion - Devdutt Padikkal was on all attack & scoring runs at speed of knots. Runs were coming thick & fast & RCB was scoring at a staggering rate of 11 runs per over. RCB was cruising & then, while chasing a wide delivery from Sam Curran - skipper Kohli edged & got OUT !! Big blow to RCB !! Soon after, Padikkal also perished but still two power-strikers - "Glenn Maxwell" & Mr.360 - "A.B.Deviliers" were waiting in the wings.
Now, the time was there for epic drama - turning point of game. Jadeja was brought into attack & he was turning the ball square.Maxwell took him once & then Jadeja completely foxed him & went through his defense. Jadeja's magic didn't stop here. His next victim was a master himself. Yes, Jadeja got a price scalp of "A.B.Deviliers" exactly in the same fashion, as that of Maxwell.
Jadeja's show didn't stop here. Now, it was time to showcase his masterclass in the field. He impacted a run-out with his sharp throw to send Dan Christian back to pavilion. This act of Jadeja has inspired the vetron - Imran Tahir & he also impacted a run-out, with a wicket to his name. RCB was in a disarray & Dhoni's men was all over them. Red army were tottering down at 122 runs, at the end of their 20 overs. Eventually, Super Kings were the Kings on the day & decimated RCB by 69 runs.
RCB lost to one man army - Sir Ravindra Jadeja !!!
