First game of IPL-2021 & What a "Thriller" !!Superb launch of super league.It was a cliff-hanger,with some crazy moments. Harshal Patel proved to be the ace-man for red army. He bowled a dream spell in the death overs & rewarded with wickets of - "Hardik Pandya, Ishaan Kishan, Kieron Pollard,Krunal Pandya & managed to get his first fifer(05/27). MI managed 159/8, courtesy of Chris Lynn (49). At halfway stage, the match looked on the knife-edge.
Turning point of the match was partnership of "Maxwell & Kohli" & over no.18, bowled by Trent Boult,when A.B.Deviliers smashed him on two consecutive deliveries & rest is history.Drama in last over-"Deviliers RUN OUT". Will it be a "Super-Over ? No,a last ball finish seals the deal for team virat .
MI still unable to break the jinx of losing first game of the league, from nine years. RCB won by two wickets. Whenever MI lost first game of league - won the IPL Trophy. Well, #rohitsharma won't mind this. So, where are we heading to ? MI won hearts - RCB Won Match !!
